Hello, everyone. It is with great sadness that I announce that Tinker-yama Studios will not be attending any conventions this year. Further more, updates to the website will be limited at best for the foreseeable future do to lack of content. Do to changes in my job and an overall lack of funding to cover con related expenses, I’ve been forced to make the difficult decision to cease operations.
Despite the limited amount of updates to the site, I hope you will check back here occasionally as I work towards creating something new from the ashes of the old. In addition, I will be launching a new site in the coming weeks and will post the url here once I’m ready.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has encouraged us and worked with us over the past six years. I wouldn’t trade the time spent on Tinker-yama related projects for anything. I’ve made so many great friends and had many, many wonderful life experiances. Truly, I thank all of you for letting my crew and I pursue this dream for so long by supporting us at cons and through our website.

Yeah, I had a pretty rocking Christmas this past year. Although I didn’t get everything I wanted (curse you, ever elusive Miku Hatsune Figma that haunts my dreams!!), it was the time I got to spend with family and friends that was meant to the most to me and not the sweet, sweet gifts that were under the Christmas tree (or at least that’s what I tell them…good thing none of them ever read this website or my secret would be out! =^_^;;= )
Anyway, in real terms, the New Year has come and gone, with not much hoopla or celebration. We here at TYS spent the evening using ur xbox to watch low budget B-movies off our Netflix instant queue (thanks for the free membership, Chopstickr!). With that said, just because our celebration was humble, that doesn’t mean we don’t have a lot to thankful for this past year and a lot to look forward to in the coming year. First of all, we’re very thankful to all the people who visit this site and all the good folks who took the time to visit our humble Artist Alley table this past year. We also want to say thank you to all our wonderful friends and family who have helped us (and put up with us! =^_^;;=) this past year. We look forward to being apart of your lives (and annoying you, scarring you, and generally making with the shenanigans again) through out the coming year. I guess what I’m trying to say is just this:
Thank you, everyone for the past year. It had its ups and its downs, but we’re all better for it and we wouldn’t trade the experiances for anything in the world (not even for that Hatsune Miku figma…sigh). We look forward to sharing many more experiances and making lots of great memories with all of you in the coming year.

Oh yeah, speaking of Hatsune Miku love, as I go to comfort myself over my lack of a Hastune Miku figma for Christmas with the super spiffy Yuki Nagato Wizard Outfit Figma that my beautiful and loving wife, Christine, bought me, I figured I’d share this Hatsune Miku music video I stumbled across today on Youtube. Yeah, I know there’s like a billion of them out there, but it’s rare I actually find one that I really, really like. This is one of those videos. I love the animation and the song…

That’s what I said once I took a look at this fanbase trailer. I didn’t watch as much Thundercats when I was little maybe some clips and th eopening but DEAR LORD if this was actually made so with cast in mind, it would be every fans wet dream come true haha XD. Regardless if your a fan or not this look pretty awesome in everyway.
